Baked African Spiced Chicken Thighs

baked chicken thighs

Baked African Spiced Chicken Thighs is one of my favorite recipes. It is simple and easy to make. You only need to have the spice blend ready, then marinate the chicken, and bake them, simple!

How to make it?

You can cook this meal in 3 easy steps:

  1. Prepare the spice blend. combining the salt, white pepper, green seasoning, curry powder, country onion powder, and oil in a small bowl.
  2. Season the chicken. Transfer the chicken to a bowl and add the prepared spice blend. Mix them well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Bake the chicken. Place the chicken on a baking tray or Air fryer and bake it at 180℃ for about 35 minutes depending on the capacity of your device.

What to serve with?

These Baked African Spiced Chicken Thighs go well with anything like stews, vegetables, rice, or plantains. Here below are three recipes suggestions from my blog:

  1. Coconut Fried Rice. Coconut Fried Rice is a mixture of coconut-flavored cooked rice with chicken and vegetables.
  2. Fried plantains. Fried sweet plantains are the popular and favorite side dish in many African or Caribbean homes.
  3. African Peanut Stew. African Peanut Stew is one of my favorites of African stews.
